The H27RT housing is designed for remodeling use in shallow ceiling. The wide variety of trims available allows a number of different lighting effects to be created with one basic housing. The H27RT is designed for use in non-insulated shallow ceilings. If ceiling insulation is present, it must be kept 3 in from all sides of housing.
  • Remodel springs accommodate 1/2 in and 5/8 in ceiling material

  • NM cable pryouts and conduit knockouts in junction box
  • Shallow ceiling housing
  • Rigid socket plate adjusts and locks without tools for various lamp sizes
  • Seven conduit knockouts are uniform 1/2 in size with true pryout slot
  • Three quick-connect connectors eliminate need for separate wire nuts - simply strip supply wires and push in
  • Four remodel clips secure housing and accommodates 1/2 and 5/8 in ceiling material
  • Porcelain socket with nickel-plated brass screw shell
  • Integral thermal protector deactivates fixture if an incorrect lamp is used or if ceiling insulation material is not applied correctly
