The National Electrical code requires all circuits feeding dwelling areas in residential structures to be protected by combination type arc fault circuit interrupters. Eaton's type CH (3/4 in) combination AFCI is available in 15 and 20 A configurations. Eaton has also included a diagnostic LED as a standard feature in the CH AFCI which indicates the most recent trip code to assist in troubleshooting.
